Shortcut keys

All the shortcut keys are captured only if the graphic scene has the focus. A simple click in the graphic scene will give the focus to the scene. Some of these keys depends on the context.

A

Zoom all. This command is the same as the command Zoom All.

C

Close a polyline / BSpline or Contour.

I

Reverse normal. When a meshed model is in the scene, face and back sides are represented with a different aspect and color. The 'I' shortcut swaps the face and back sides of all selected meshes. Note that it is also possible to use the contextual menu.

L

Fly. Switch in Fly navigation mode.

O

Orbit ortho. Switch in Orbit orthographic navigation mode.

P

  • Cyclone 3DR profile: switch in panorama navigation mode.

  • 3DReshaper profile: the view switches from an orthographic to a perspective view.

R

Orbit perpsective. Switch in Orbit perspective navigation mode.

S

Select objects. Switch in selection mode.

T

Top Ortho. Switch in Top Ortho navigation mode.

X/SHIFT + X

View along the X axis; Shift: View along the opposite of the X axis.

Y/SHIFT + Y

View along the Y axis; Shift: View along the opposite of the Y axis.

Z/SHIFT + Z

View along the Z axis; Shift: View along the opposite of the Z axis.

ALT+Right Button

Low speed rotation. If you press the ALT key before rotating the 3D view with the right button, the rotation speed will be very low to adjust the position very precisely.

ALT+Mouse wheel

Change point size of displayed points and clouds.

CTRL

Press the CTRL key to draw a segment which is vertical or horizontal to the current view (in Draw for instance).

CTRL+A

Select all visible objects.

CTRL+SHIFT+A

Unselect all objects.

CTRL+C

Copy.

CTRL+N

Open a new document.

CTRL+O

Launch the "Open" dialog box.

CTRL+S

Launch the "Save" dialog box.

CTRL+X

Cut.

CTRL+V

Paste.

CTRL+Y

Redo action.

CTRL+Z

Undo action.

CTRL + Q

Launch the Command palette.

SHIFT

Rectangular selection.

SHIFT + S

Display scanning positions as red spheres. Double click on such spheres to switch to panorama mode.

F1

Open the help browser.

Backspace

Delete last point of a point sequence input: command like "Polyline", "Clean cloud", etc.

DEL

Command delete

  • If you are inside a point input sequence, this key is the same as Backspace.

  • If you have selected some objects this key will delete selected objects. You can also use the menu or the icon.

ESC

To exit current command. This key can be used in next situations:

  • If some objects are selected, typing ESC will reset the selection.

  • If the software waits a point or a sequence of input in command like "Polyline", "Clean cloud", etc.

  • If a long computation has been launched with a progress bar display, the current calculation is stopped and an error message is displayed.
