From Geometry

This command transforms the surfacic geometrical features into meshes. This command is particularly useful if you want to use a geometrical shape in a command as a mesh.

Requirements

Select the surfacic geometrical(s) shape(s) you want to convert and launch the command.

This command has 2 options:

  • Deviation: this value is the deviation between the geometrical feature and the discretized feature (mesh or polyline). In this option, points are not evenly spaced. The result is an object with the minimum number of points to satisfy the criteria.

  • Points evenly spaced. Average distance between points: the option will use a grid of points/vertices to discretize the feature.

If you want to use the default parameter, put 0 in one of the two fields. See below for details about default values.
