BIM Inspect Clean

This command allows you to clean the imported scan before launching the inspection analysis. This step is optional however taking time to clean the scan will help to perform a more relevant inspection.

  1. Select the cleaning Methods to use:

    • Distance: only points close to the theoretical model will be kept. Set the corresponding threshold.

    • Limit box (available if a limitbox has been initialized): this method will keep inner points.

  2. Click Clean button. The result is displayed.

  3. Click Undo button to undo the cleaning and restore the original scan.

  4. Then click Next to validate and continue (BIM Inspect Select Objects ).

Notes

Modifying the cleaning later will cancel previous workflow results, if any.

In such situation:

  • you can continue the current cleaning (this will update CleanedCloud object).

  • or start again it thanks to Undo (this will remove CleanedCloud object).

Tips & Tricks

Cleaning using Desktop tools: o ptionally, you can temporarily leave the workflow and clean the corresponding cloud (CleanedCloud). The cleaned cloud must remain in the workflow folder and its named must stay the same.
