  1. Data are sorted into three categories: environment data, custom data and report data:

    1. Environment data are predefined ones because they are called by default templates. They can be automatic fields (not editable) or be similar in their behavior to a custom data.

    2. Custom data are added manually by the user

    3. Report data are generated automatically by using the software.

  2. Texts and images can be added to the Custom data folder using the plus icon images/download/attachments/137619987/Add.svg or the ribbon.

  3. Images and scenes (See View Set page) can be displayed with the magnifying glass images/download/attachments/137619987/Magnifier.svg .

  4. Labels table can be exported into a .csv file with the table icon images/download/attachments/137619987/ExportTable.svg or the ribbon.

Custom data behavior

  • By default, a custom data is unpinned, meaning it is only stored in the current project. If the data is not inserted in the report, it will be removed when existing the application.
If you pin it images/download/attachments/137619987/Pinned.svg , then this data will behave like an application setting and will be embedded in any further projects.

  • When opening an existing project, all custom data are loaded and inserted dynamically in the data panel.

  • When exporting a template, all inserted custom data are stored in the MLT file.

  • When a template is applied to a specific chapter, custom data are updated in the data panel as well.
