This command allows for a global override of CloudWorx point cloud coloring.

Requirements

No selection is required to launch the command.

  1. Global Color Mapping:

    1. Select No Override to display the point cloud using its own setting.

    2. Select True Color to display the point cloud with real color. If real color data is not present, the point cloud will instead use intensity data (if available), then a single color. This is equivalent to click on the component color in the tree and choose Real color.

    3. Select Intensity Mapping to display the point cloud with intensity-mapped colors. If intensity data is not available, CloudWorx attempts to use real color data (if available), then a single color.

      1. Then, set Minimum and Maximum intensity thresholds (Intensity Mapping Parameters).

    4. Select Elevation Mapping to color along a direction.

      1. Then, set the Origin, Direction, Start and Delta to define the ranges (Elevation/Distance Mapping).

    5. Select Distance Mapping to color around a target point.

      1. Then, set the Origin, Start and Delta to define the ranges (Elevation/Distance Mapping).

    6. Select Appearance in order to display the point cloud in a custom RGB color. This is equivalent to click on the component color in the tree and choose Flat and click on ....

    7. Select Classification to display it. Then, define the classification model to use and the classes to display.

  2. Color Scheme (useful if you choose Intensity, Elevation or Distance Mapping):

    1. Multi-Hue: from red through yellow and green to blue.

    2. Grayscale: from dark to bright gray.

    3. Scaled red: from dark to bright red.

    4. Scaled green: from dark to bright green.

    5. Scaled blue: from dark to bright blue.

  3. Number of colors: set the number of color ranges.

  4. Optionally, Repeat color out of range to apply colors for values out of range.

  5. Optionally, apply a Gamma correction.
