Edit Mask
This command allows to edit the mask of the selected images (or set of images). Parts of images which are masked will be ignored during smart texturing.
Requirements
Select perspective, spherical or set of images and launch the command.
Choose a drawing tool:
to paint pixels on the image. Adjust the brush size with the slider or the scroll wheel.
to draw a freehand contour. Click and hold the left button pressed to draw the contour.
to draw a polygon contour. Click every vertices. Undo the last vertex with DEL key. Close the contour with ENTER or C.
to draw a contour automatically using seed points:
At first usage, a package will be downloaded to enable such AI tools.
Click a first seed point to create a selection.
Click other seed points to extend the selection contour. Use SHIFT to give negative seed points to restrain the selection contour. Press DEL to remove the last seed point or click
to remove all points.
You can use Inflate/Deflate to grow or shrink the selection contour by a certain amount of pixels.
Press ENTER or click
to validate the contour.
to choose whether to add or remove pixels from the selection.
to reset the mask.
to undo or redo the last actions.
to select the mask color and transparency (only for visualization purposes).
to validate modifications and exit the tool or use CTRL + ENTER.
(in the top right corner) to exit and cancel modifications or use SHIFT + ESC.
Notes
If some selected images have no mask, they will be computed at the start of the command. The bigger the images, the longer it may take to process.
