This command allows to compute the volumes of a mesh at different levels.

Select one mesh and launch the command

The selected mesh can be opened, but depending on the size of the holes, the result can be less or more accurate.

  1. Direction: select the direction in which volumes are calculated.

  2. Range: choose where the volumes are calculated:

    • Regular: with a regular step between two elevations.

      • All over: all over the mesh

      • From To: on a certain part between two values or two picked points

      • Pass through: force the calculation of a volume at a given elevation.

    • List of distances: pick points or enter values to choose where to calculate volumes.

  3. Volume unit: select the unit of computed volumes.

  4. You can choose to create labels and/or level planes in the scene. If you choose to create level planes, they are added to geometric group.

When computing volumes all over a mesh at different elevations, the results are not given slice by slice, they are cumulated.
