Surface Levelness

This command allows you to analyze the levelness of a mesh or a point cloud.

Requirements

Select the mesh(es) or the cloud(s) and launch the command.

Or launch this command without selection, to analyze the levelness of planar parts of a cloud or a mesh.

With Selection

  1. Set the Direction for the analysis.

  2. Add an Offset value manually or automatically: the offset is added to the results (inspection values and deviation diagram).

  3. Optionally, edit the colors.

Without selection

  1. Give a seed point to extract a planar part that you want to analyze.

  2. Adjust the Extraction tolerance.

  3. Click OK to validate the selection.
