2D Preview/Export

This command allows you to visualize and export cross sections in a 2D layout.

Requirements

Select the objects you want to visualize and launch the command.

You can select sets of polylines, points (created with the command Analysis > Create Profiles along Axis) and colored lines resulting from the Analysis > Compare / Inspect Profiles command. The resulting view may not be satisfactory if the selected elements do not match together.

  1. Choose the layout of the elements (in one line, in one column, in a grid or individually).

  2. Click on 3D to display/hide the 3D scene.

  3. Select the objects to display with the bulbs.

  4. Configure the grid if necessary. Enter the size of the main squares of the grid and the number of subdivisions per main column and row.

  5. You can modify the colors of deviations hairs and unit of quotations with Edit Colors.

Export 2D layout

This command also allows you to export the sections in a 2D layout: only visible objects will be exported.

  1. Click images/download/attachments/173278520/CmdSendTo.svg to send the objects directly to other compatible software. For example, refer to Send to.

  2. Click images/download/attachments/173278520/CmdExportDXF.svg to export the sections in a DXF file.
