General Instructions
This help document is designed to help you with all parts of Cyclone 3DR.
Cyclone 3DR is a powerful software for 3D data, from airbone and terrestrial laser scanners, mobile sensors or photogrametry, allowing the processing of massive cloud, 3D mesh, reconstruction of surfaces and geometric shapes, and the checking of deviations.
In addition, the software offers necessary tools:
to compute DTM and volumes,
to check slopes,
to create ortho-images,
to inspect tanks,
to handle CAD objects,
etc.
The native extension of a project is .3dr. This file contains all the objects used inside the software: point clouds, meshes, polylines, geometric features, surfaces, etc (except the images which remains apart).
An .3dr file contains also a screenshot in order to see what is in the file in the preview pane of Windows Explorer.
