Touch Mode
The Touch Mode is a specific workflow oriented interface of Cyclone 3DR designed for field application.
Usage
The Touch mode interface can be started by two means:
Set as the default mode when opening Cyclone 3DR (from the General settings page)
Start the application executable with the argument --TouchMode.
This method overrides the default mode setting.
Shortcut on desktop
A default shortcut named "Cyclone 3DR Touch" is created during the installation process.
Switch from Touch mode to Desktop mode
Touch mode is designed as a workflow oriented application allowing efficiency on the field with the use of a touch device.
Sometimes, it may be helpful to complete a Touch workflow by using tools from the Desktop mode (add UCS, check properties, use a particular cleaning method on the scan data, etc.).
This can be achieved through the Switch to Touch and Switch to Desktop commands.
Switch to Desktop
This action is located in the Touch menu and toggles the user interface from Touch to Desktop.
If a workflow is in progress, the document is kept open.
Switch to Touch
This action is located in the File menu of the Desktop mode.
Several choices are possible:
Touch Homepage: close the current document if any, and display the Touch homepage.
Resume Workflow: continue the available Touch workflow in the current document.
BIM Workflow: shortcut action to start a BIM Inspect workflow based on the current document content without having to load a preparation file.
Prerequisite
This action is available only if the document contains compatible objects for a valid preparation file (see BIM Inspect page for more information).
