Rotation

This command rotates selected objects by an angle around an axis. During this operation, the object can be copied once or more.

Select the object(s) to be rotated and launch the command.

  1. Click the Axis position button to modify the axis position. For more information on defining points, you can refer to Define points.

  2. Click the Axis direction button to modify its direction.

  3. Enter the rotation Angle in degree, in radian or in gon.

  4. Optionally, enter the Number of copies. N copies means that original object is kept and N rotations are done with a copy at each time.

  5. Optionally, you can Preview to see if the result is correct.

  6. Validate the command with OK, else, close the dialog box with Cancel.

Note

The rotation axis is stored from the previous rotation command. Then, if it is still valid, you can directly validate the command.
